  2. My nippers uncle is about the same age and threw a plank of wood during the riots , currently serving a 1 year sentence with no previous criminal record, two tier justice at work

  3. How did he not go to jail when I am pretty sure there are cases of people being in the vicinity of a riot going to jail?

  4. Man shouts at a police dog: 20 months in jail. Man throws brick in riot: no jail.

  5. Sickening how the courts and politicians tip toe around a certain religion and its terroist supporters but throw the book at everyone else.

World has really gone full tilt and needs a major correction.

  6. The article literally say he tossed the brick away and not at people like fuck me can nobody read downvote if you can’t read but at least read the article

  7. What a load of crap, one rule for us, another for them. This country is a joke.

  8. He pleaded guilty, there is no evidence he assaulted anyone and only showed up that day to protect his mosque against a racist crowd. No criminal record 3rd year university student who can easily get back on track to be a positive and productive member of the community.

A suspended sentence seems perfectly appropriate.

This headline is trying very hard to make it seems like a lenient justice system.

  9. So did he throw it (presumably at something or someone) and get away with it, or did he toss it to one side? The headline and actual article are at odds with each other.
