Aye, I know it's not the craziest thing in the world but considering I've been to France and had to explain where/what Wales was.. I just didn't expect to see it there in Ukraine.

I don’t know where in wales you are from but where I’m from in Wales, we housed loads of families that fled from the war there and a lot of them are still here, lovely people they are.
My great aunty had someone with her until last Christmas and they have now gone home.
There are a few of us over here.
When I was last in Kyiv in 2019 I was walking through the metro and overheard some thick Welsh accents, was rather unexpected.
Donetsk was founded by a Welshman bizarrely, so it might be a homage to that
I love this video https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-66179694?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR2ZPdLA4DV2s5vYGOm35kz3fe0g718qwylRe7rvIFYravlaKaK_987Gu0I_aem_ZhzeqgwoXyZScHSNVeZrtw
Genuine question, what were you doing out there? I didn’t think travel was permitted.
I was planning a trip before all this kicked off and I’m forever gutted I didn’t take the trip.
Wherever there’s a fight, there’ll be a celt getting stuck into it. Well up for a ruck.
My Grandad was from Lviv, plus there were loads of Ukrainians/Poles living in the Valleys mining communities back in the day…
We get everywhere.
Let’s not forget, Donetsk was founded by a Welsh man.
There’s a very well known connection between Wales and Ukraine. There’s also a place called Sebastopol near Cwmbran.
Both flags look fresh out of the bag. Can still see the creases. They ain’t been flying long.
