ZAGREB (Croatia), February 17 (SeeNews) – The main share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange ended in the red on Monday on losses in hotel owner and manager Valamar [ZSE:RIVP], Zagrebacka Banka (ZABA) [ZSE:ZABA] and electrical concern Koncar [ZSE:KOEI], bourse data showed.

The bourse’s 19-share equity benchmark, the CROBEX, shed 1.02% to 3,425.03 points.

The narrower blue-chip CROBEX10 index fell 0.60% to 2,166.81 points.

Software developer Span [ZSE:SPAN] was the most traded company with a turnover of some 463,000 euro ($485,000), as its shares declined 0.38% to 52.20 euro.

Index heavyweight Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] followed with a turnover of 371,500 euro, as its shares gained 1.15% to 44 euro.

Shares of ZABA plunged 4.03% to 26.20 euro in a turnover of 309,000 on the news that the lender proposed to pay a dividendof 1.40 euro per share from its net profit for 2024, unchanged compared to the dividend it paid last year. ZABA is a constituent only of the wider share index.

Koncar’s shares lost 2.18% to 494 euro in a turnover of 267,000 euro, following a rally in its share price in January. Its shares gained 126% since mid-February 2024.

Valamar was the biggest decliner as its shared fell 4.56% to 6.28 euro in a daily turnover of 151,000 euro. However, its shares appreciated more than 12% in the last one month.

The bourse’s regular turnover rose to 2.3 million euro from 1.97 million euro on Friday.
