Princess Beatrice made a romantic nod to her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, as she made an appearance in Dubai this week.

The royal mother-of-two attended the launch of a partnership between the Fiker Institute and Opus in the Middle East, beaming with joy as she posed for photographs at the event which were later shared on social media. In a touching tribute to her husband of three years, Beatrice opted to rewear a navy gown which she first wore for her engagement portraits back in September 2019.

In a post by the Fiker Institute on the social media platform X, the Princess can be seen with her auburn locks swept back from her face, revealing the pretty neck detail of the gown. According to the post, the organisation detailed how the initiative ‘will see the two organisations look to advance the entrepreneurial corridor between the UAE and the UK, and to promote global action & intellectual discourse among the memberships of both organisations.’

Beatrice first began dating her now-husband in 2018, before they got engaged in 2019. Photograph Misan Harriman captured the shots at the time, revealing in an interview, ‘The shoot was incredibly intimate. I came by myself without any assistants or extra camera equipment. It was just the happy couple and I in the gorgeous gardens of the royal lodge.’

They were married in a small private wedding ceremony in Windsor at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Princess Beatrice and Edo were photographed outside with the Princess’ late grandparents Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. In 2021, the couple welcomed their first child Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi who is tenth in line to the British throne. The niece of King Charles III also serves as stepmother to Edoardo’s son Wolfie from his previous relationship with American architect Dara Haung.

In recent months, they have made a number of public appearances. They attended the Princess of Wales’ Together at Christmas carol concert with Wolfie in December. This was one of the larger public royal gatherings over the Christmas period alongside the famous Windsor Christmas lunch which takes place privately behind closed doors. The carol service was broadcast on ITV, entitled Royal Carols: Together at Christmas.
