  1. I always thought the 16th was the cougar quarter, it is not safe for single men under 30 to go anywhere near this Arr. The first time I went there is was so obvious.

  2. On my visits to Paris I used to stay at the 16th A because its location is great and not very touristy. Where I stayed is an easy walk to the sights of the popular 8th A.

  3. Not sure why they focused so heavily on the history of professional tennis when there's so much to discuss about a visit to the 16th. You can see the home of Benjamin Franklin or shop on rue de Passy or Av. Mozart, two untouristy, completely local streets. Great food markets on rue de l'Annonciation. Also a far less chaotic Grande Epicerie. If you want to see particularly striking examples of Haussmannian Paris, a long stroll in the 16th is a rewarding idea. Trocadero doesn't have the feel of the rest of the 16th, which is very residential. Lots of "crottoirs" in the 15th too.

  4. Well of course the area is the least touristy spot, the rich don't want annoying tourists to come and mess up their quite lifestyle. There are spots like this in every major cities worldwide.

  5. 39 Blvd Suchet, in the 16th. That was my address while on a 4-yr assignment in Paris in the 80's. Watching this video was like going home for me. Thank you for posting!

  6. According to Google, NYC Central Park is 843 acres
Balboa Park in San Diego is 1,200 acres with 18 museums and a zoo with Panda. The 1915-16 California/Panama Canal Expo made the park unique 😊

  7. Seriously,,,,!!! the 16th is not that impressive, it's big but it's too old ,most apartments ARE NOT VERY WELL RENOVATED, some close to the 8th are OK but the rest is not that upscale, missing air conditioning and good maintenance, a lot of buildings are really smelly and the concierges make even worse, they don't do anything except cooking and drinking beer 😅…!!!

  8. the place is full of old people who never bother to clean after there dogs so the streets a full dog excrement

  9. I stayed at an Airbnb in the 16th district months ago as a tourist because the internet said it’s safer there. But I was not impressed with the neighborhood as it’s too far from all the major tourist attractions and not much going on. Next time I am in Paris I will stay in the 4th or 5th district.

  10. This is a nice visual and entertaining channel. But you are aware this is 2020…I mean 2025. 1080p is what you'd except from a 69 euro cheap smart phone. 4K@60fps should be your standard. I mean you want to show off France, RIGHT?

  11. Definitely truth to the 16th I
being the wealthiest. When I was there all through the 1980s the wealthiest American companies had their private homes there and the estates were impressive
