1. It’s kind of funny when some people in the Army bash socialism, yet they’re benefiting from a system that’s pretty socialist in nature. The Army provides free healthcare and housing to soldiers—basically, the government takes care of these essentials, no out-of-pocket costs or market competition. That’s exactly what many socialists advocate for: universal access and central control of services. So, while these same people might claim socialism is bad, they’re happily living in a system that shares a lot of the same ideas they criticize. It’s a bit of a double standard, don’t you think?
