  4. Many (mostly Ossis) will be voting for AfD, far more people voting CDU, hopefully a post-election _cordon sanitaire_ will be in place. The AfD is a byproduct of populism, misunderstood nationalism and the disgust coming from a real immigration policies issue.

  8. CDU will get the most votes AFD second but nobody wants to work with them. So a coalition of CDU, SPD, Grüne or maybe FDP if they make it

  9. I was hoping for shitty weather, and AfD voters staying home because it’s all conspiracy anyway. Why else organize elections in February? But the weather gods turn out to be Nazis.

  11. The AfD is likely to get fewer votes than expected, mainly due to the Ukraine controversy and the importance of the EU.

  14. I believe that Musk’s and Vance’s open support for AfD will ironically damage their end result. Or at least I hope so.
