Denmark-Olar Skates Past Carvers Bay with Ease

Denmark-Olar won against Charleston Math & Science last Wednesday with 71 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Denmark-Olar Vikings breezed past the Carvers Bay Bears to the tune of 71-33. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Denmark-Olar’s win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joshua Goodman, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds. Goodman’s afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Robert Bovain was another key player, dropping a double-double with 18 points and ten boards.

Denmark-Olar smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they’ve now pulled down at least 17 offensive boards in six consecutive contests.

Denmark-Olar has been performing incredibly well recently as they’ve won 14 of their last 15 games. That’s provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points over those games. Carvers Bay’s defeat dropped their record down to 20-9.

As of now, neither Denmark-Olar nor Carvers Bay have any future games scheduled.
