This will be followed by results from Uniphar tomorrow.

On Wednesday, Glanbia, CRH, Hammerson and Dole will also announce their results. This will be followed by Cairn Homes the day after.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) will host its inaugural World Data Symposium in Dublin on February 26 and 27.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) will bring together food businesses, food safety professionals, regulators and policymakers for an open meeting tomorrow to discuss the role of AI in food safety.

The meeting will see professionals looking at practices across the agri-food industry, where AI experts will take part in debates and discussion and explore real-world applications of AI technologies such as ­machine learning and predictive modelling.

Tomorrow, the Central Statistics Office will release earnings and labour costs for the last quarter of 2024.

It will also release data on inbound tourism in January on Thursday, followed by the retail sales index for the same on Friday.

Dublin Chambers’ annual general meeting dinner will be held on Wednesday.

The Irish Tax Institute’s annual dinner is on Friday.

In the US, data this week will provide an insight into post-election consumer sentiment. A consumer confidence report tomorrow is expected to show the mood continued slipping in February.

The consumer confidence index measures Americans’ assessment of current economic conditions and their outlook for the next six months.

Confidence has remained relatively strong, along with consumer spending, despite pressure from inflation.

US Commerce Department housing data is due on Wednesday and its closely watched consumer inflation data is due on Friday.

Economists expect the report to show that inflation edged lower in January after recent months of rises.
