Staten og Kommunernes Indkøbsservice (SKI), the largest public procurementagency in Denmark, has  awarded Atea Denmark the SKI 50.49 frame agreement forsoftware licenses, cloud subscriptions and related maintenance and consultingservices.

Atea is the sole supplier under the frame agreement. 103 municipal governmentsand related organizations in Denmark are obliged to procure software andrelatedservices under the frame agreement.  The term of the agreement is 3 years. Theexpected value of the frame agreement is DKK 4.1 billion.

The new frame agreement will replace an expiring frame agreement on which Ateawas also the sole supplier.

“We are pleased to continue providing software licenses and cloudsubscriptionsto municipalities across Denmark, and supporting their users with training,advisory and support in critical areas such as security, modern workplace andAI,” commented Atea Group CEO Steinar Sønsteby.

The award of the SKI 50.49 frame agreement is subject to appeal from otherparticipants in the tendering process. The deadline for appeals is March3[rd].Assuming that there are no delays from a potential appeal, sales under theagreement will begin on April 1.
