Why don’t Germany split into two countries? Are they stupid?

  1. Nah, just wait 4 more years and it will be all blue. No need to take intermediate steps.

  2. They want an “alternative for Germany”, and that’s what that map looks like. History might not repeat, but it does rhyme …

  3. They could use a long wall, don’t think they tried that yet

  4. Let’s make the eastern half have 0 communication with the outside world for 50 years. (also make them an ally of Russia)

  5. Just rebuild the wall. You can’t really save a country that has gone through communism, it’s devastating.

  6. Can we split in half every country?

It worked well for Korea, Ireland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and others.

At least for one of the two halves…

  7. I love Germany so much that I prefer when there are lots of them.

  8. The western parts of Berlin dont quire fit in this part east of the yellow border. Maybe we can make an enclave.

  9. • Politically instability? ✅

    • Covert Russian actions? ✅

    • Far-Right rise? ✅

    • Stagnant economy? ✅

Why is Germany cosplaying as us?

  10. It wouldn‘t have reunited if it wasn‘t for Berlin being in the middle of it

  11. And all alone Leipzig stands red among a sea of blue…
(Yes i know Erfurt and Berlin too, but you get the point)

  12. Looks like they would have to divide Berlin too. Why haven’t they tried this?

  13. Honestly, a unified, powerful and democratic Europe that can stand up to Russia and the yanks is more important to me than German unity, and I’m a fairly patriotic guy

  14. Thanks for drawing the yellow line i couldnt tell where the eastern states began

  15. If you look on the level of individual towns, it looks way more blue in the western provinces, too. Especially the economically and otherwise challenged regions…

  16. Funny how the part that was communist is now full of fascists, it’s almost as if a certain horse related theory might be right
