Princess Eugenie is Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew’s youngest daughter(Image: Getty Images)A recently unearthed photo shows a resemblance between Princess Eugenie and Lilibet, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s daughter – and the similarities are striking.
The throwback snapshot in question shows both Eugenie and her older sister Beatrice in their mother Sarah Ferguson‘s arms, as they board the royal barge to join Britannia near Fort William, HELLO! reports.
Little Eugenie is dressed in a pretty pink and white gingham dress with her strawberry-blonde hair cut into a short bob style. She looks very much like Lilibet in the photo shared by the Sussexes’ in honour of their daughter’s first birthday.

Harry has spoken in the past about his children’s resemblance to Princess Diana‘s side of the family. All three of Princess Diana’s siblings – Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale, and Earl Spencer – boast naturally red hair, a family trait passed on to Harry.
During an interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Harry said: “The Spencer gene is very, very strong. I actually really, genuinely thought at the beginning of my relationship [with Meghan] that should this go the distance and we have kids, there’s no way the ginger gene will stand up to my wife’s genes, but I was wrong!”

The three-year-old has very little contact with her British family – it’s believed she has visited the UK just once. But she is a little princess in the making, according to a friend of the Sussexes.
US Chef Adrian Lipscombe lifted the lid on Lilibet’s new ‘princess phase’ as she took to social media to defend Meghan following criticism over her upcoming lifestyle series.
Following the trailer’s release and ahead of the show’s premiere, food publication Eater published an article by Amy McCarthy, which was titled “I’m Already Bored by Meghan Markle’s New Netflix Cooking Series” which criticised Meghan’s attempt to promote a “relatable” lifestyle.
In response, Adrian posted a lengthy message in which she spoke about her interactions with Meghan and her daughter.
She wrote, in part: “I’ve had the pleasure of meeting @meghan over food, and let me tell you, she and her well-known significant other are some of the most down-to-earth people I’ve ever met.
“We talked about our families (mostly about our daughters being in their princess phase and the movies they love) and, of course, about food. She didn’t rush the conversation, even though I was taking up her time. She was gracious, engaged, and kind.” She added: “The food world deserves better. Meghan deserves better. And frankly, we all do.”
