Luxembourg-Finnish online marketing startup Videobot has raised €2.8 million in a funding round that has brought its total funding to €5.5 million, the startup said in a press release.
The latest funding round was led by the Belgian venture capital firm Volta Ventures and included participation by Expon Capital in Luxembourg and Superhero Capital in Finland.
The Videobot platform adds interactivity to short-form videos, allowing businesses to integrate features such as branching, navigation and analytics into their video content. The new funding will support product development and international expansion.
“Videobot goes further than the traditional video, allowing engaging, video-based micro-interactions throughout the user journey on websites and apps as well as facilitating the use of paid ads, physical stores, and beyond. By adding an interactive element to video, we’ve seen that companies using Videobot can experience up to 5x higher conversion rates and increased customer satisfaction,” Videobot cofounder Matias Maenpaa said.
Videobot, launched in 2022, won the Luxembourg stage of the 2024 Startup World Cup.
