That is one of the largest net profit margins as a % of gross revenue I’ve seen represented in these graphs.
Absolutely insane margins.
10% of revenues to R&D budget. Smart
Do people really like this type of chart?
I knew they had insane margins but damn…
You’d think that with gaming producing such a small share of it’s revenue and even smaller share of its profit that they could back off on the Apple like pricing philosophy and make gaming more affordable thus accessible for EVERYONE. But nope. 🙂
What is this style of graph called? It does not seem very intuitive
I don’t know if it’s a dumb question, but can someone tell me how NVIDIA earns with “Compute”? What’s “compute” here?
How do they get away with only 10% taxes? Every regular Joe pays way more than that on their gross.
So, what I’m learning here is that NVidia is not a gaming company.
They make more revenue from networking (assuming from their Infiniband acquisition?) than from gaming.
Time for Jensen to get more shiny jackets
9% of their earnings is gaming cards.
No wonder 5000 series sucks ball they don’t care lol
And they don’t even make the chips, just design them, which is probably why the cost of revenue is so small.
Has the company created any new billionaires yet? Who are the biggest individual shareholders?
What exactly is “Cost of Revenue”?
Like marketing and sales expenses?
Yessss. Infinite growth!!1111one What can go wrong? /s
Nvidia is the shovel and pickaxe salesman of the gold rush. Except the “gold rush” is AI development.
But dont worry, they will still find a way to justify doubling or tripling the cost of their GPUs
To be honest, seeing such a huge profit margin makes me sick.
Not of envy, not to be confused, but of disgust.
Yes, some people think that this kind of capitalism is ok and “earned”, but what are they doing with that money that will benefit all of humanity?
When a profit margin of such a huge company is so big it only shows where capitalism got out of control.
Serving money for money’s sake brings only corruption.
