The dip in CO2 emissions during the pandemic

  1. Not so fun fact: to hit the 1.5C target, we would have to see a dip like this repeated 7 times in a row over the next 5 years.

    Then we’d have to achieve net zero emissions over the 20 following years.

    Not so fun fact 2: we have not only completely eliminated any reductions of emissions since the pandemic, but we’re already at record high emissions.

  2. I’ve always felt the “return to office” movement was more about keeping oil values high rather than property values.

  3. It would be good to see this mapped against global CO2 Levels. This would be a good way to show how a dip like this affects the long term.

  4. Work from home policies are some of the most effective green policy we’ve seen.
