Welsh budget plans approved after Lib Dem deal

  1. This is a really good budget by Labour in Wales for the first time in a while! Plaid Cymru and conservatives voted against it but this budget was approved because Liberal Democrat MS Jane Dodds abstained in a deal rather than voting against it:

    The budget contains:

    £1 bus fares for 16-21 year olds because of the negotiation deal with the Liberal Democrats. This will cost £100m but this is putting the country first!

    £26bn budget for the NHS, education and other public services.

    Extra £4.4m funding for Arts

  2. The Tories said the budget would not “fix Wales.” You mean doesn’t line the pockets of your mates.
