Tonight, the final three national selections of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will take place across Europe.

The key times for tonight are:

This evening, 12 acts are competing in Stockholm to represent Sweden at the 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.

After five weeks of heats, the final of Melodifestivalen 2025 takes place at the Strawberry Arena in the Swedish capital. Kristina “Keyyo” Petrushina and Edvin Törnblom are hosting this year’s contest.

The running order is as follows:

John Lundvik – “Voice of the Silent”
Dolly Style – “Yihaa”
Greczula – “Believe Me”
Klara Hammarström – “On and On and On”
Scarlet – “Sweet N’ Psycho”
Erika Segerstedt – “Show Me What love Is”
Maja Ivarsoon – “Kamikaze Life”

Saga Ludvigsson – “Hate You So Much”

The winner will be determined by 50% international jury voting and 50% public vote. The public vote is determined by app voting through age categories; 3-9, 10-15, 16-29, 30-44, 45-59m, 69-74, 75+ and by telephone voting.

During the final, Medina, who finished second in Melodifestivalen 2024, will return to the competition stage. They will perform a new version of ”Genom eld och vatten”.

Tonight the final of the first San Marino Song Contest will take place selecting the Sammarinese entry for Basel.

The Teatro Nuovo in Dogana plays host to the final of the San Marino Song Contest 2025. The show will be presented by Flora Canto and Francesco Facchinetti. Alongside the competition performances, there will also be performances from La Rappresentante di Lista, Al Bano (Italy 1976 and 1985) and Senhit (San Marino 2011, 2020 and 2021).

The winner will be determined by a jury formed of:

Luca De Gennaro (DJ) (president of the jury)
Roberto Sergio (Director of SMRTV)
Federica Gentile (TV and radio host)
Ema Stokholma (TV and radio host)
Mario Andrea Ettore (Marketing manager at SIAE, the Italian Society of Authors and Editors

The jurors will vote across three rounds to determine the winner of the contest. The first assessment took place on March 4, where the jurors assigned points based on two criteria:

Overall artistic criteria (artistic validity, production quality, emotional impact) – 1 to 10 points allocated per song
Affinity with Eurovision (radio and international potential, coherence with the musical language of the event, possible participation in the Eurovision competition) – 1 to 10 points allocated per song

During the final, the jury will vote again, awarding up to 10 points per song. They are assessed based on:

Quality of vocal performance
Stage presence and interpretation
Television effectiveness and charisma
Eurovision Potential

The five jurors can award up to 30 points to each song across the previous two rounds, meaning a maximum score of 150 points is available from the jury.

The Artistic Director also has the possibility to assign bonus points to one artist based on their evaluation of the entries. The Artistic Director can award 10 points to one act only.

The winner will be the act that receives the highest number of points across rounds one, two and three, with a maximum score of 210 points.

Alongside the main prize of representing San Marino in Basel, there will also be a Critics’ Prize, which will be voted on by the press, and a prize for Sammarinese artists.

The final is being broadcast live on San Marino RTV, Rai Italia, Radio San Marino, Rai Radio2, RaiPlay and RaiPlay Sound.

Tonight, Portugal will select their representative for the 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland.

A total of 12 acts are competing this evening in the Grand Final of Festival da Canção 2025 at the RTP Studios in Lisbon. Hosted by Filomena Cautela and Vasco Palmeirim, the show will select Portugal’s Eurovision 2025 representative through a combined vote of seven regional juries and the public.

The running order for the final:

Iolanda, the country’s Eurovision representative in Malmö last year, will perform during tonight’s Grand Final. Joining her will be João Borsch, the televote winner, and overall runner-up of Festival da Canção 2024, alongside Maria João, another alumna from last year’s selection.

In addition to the previous festival participants, the Grand Final will also feature some established Portuguese artists, including Afro-jazz musician Huca, the eclectic band Expresso Transatlântico, Ana Lua Caiano, who blends tradition with innovation, and singer-songwriter The Legendary Tigerman.
