Decided to convert a old Sony A7 to an infrared camera and tested it out over the last few days of good weather. Thought Reddit would like the wacky results of infrared photography.
Will be going around with the camera in the summer to see what else I can find while capturing a whole new spectrum of light.
For those who are interested I convert the camera by removing the IR cut filter from the front of the sensor and then investing in some IR filters for the lens along with some IR chrome filters which tint things like leaves and grass different colours.
You can go down a massive YouTube rabbit hole just as I did if you want to know more.

Incredible!
Is the second photo Hanger Hill Park Ealing?
I love the shots, is there any limit to the type of camera? Or does it have to be a decent DSLR? Or even a point and shoot?
beautiful, makes me wish there were cherryblossoms planted everywhere!
Every single image you took is stunning. Unbelievably creative and resourceful
