Sarah, Duchess of York, also marked International Women’s Day, showing her thanks and support for the ‘unsung heroes’ she has met through her philanthropic efforts, as well as her daughters and granddaughters.

‘On #InternationalWomensDay, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of women everywhere. From those who have shaped history to the countless unsung heroes making a difference every day, their impact is truly remarkable,’ she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post.

‘As a mother to two incredible daughters and a grandmother to two wonderful girls, I feel so fortunate to be surrounded by strong, compassionate, and inspiring women. From family to friends and the many extraordinary women I’ve met along the way, I am constantly reminded of the power of kindness, courage, and determination.’

Princess Eugenie is a vocal advocate for International Women’s Day, last year not only paying tribute to her mother and sister but also to her late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, posting a photograph of the pair of them sitting together on a bench. In another moving International Women’s Day 2024 tribute, Fergie posted a photo gallery that included snapshots of Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth, writing that she was ‘grateful for all of the amazing women in my life and remembering all of those who have left their profound light forever in my heart.’
