Princess Eugenie is often tied to her sister, Princess Beatrice. That’s why I was surprised to see the royal with her cousin, Zara Tindall, during her latest appearance.
This week, Princess Eugenie and Zara stepped out for day two of the Cheltenham Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse in Gloucestershire, England. They even turned the outing into a double date by inviting their husbands, Jack Brooksbank and Mike Tindall, respectively.

The royal cousins coordinated their outfits with a Kate Middleton-approved “burgundy” theme. Princess Eugenie wore a gorgeous coat, which featured double-breasted buttons and a military-style silhouette. She accessorized with a matching hatband (which is a cross between a headband and a fascinator) and a small handbag.
On the other hand, Zara sported a flattering pinstriped suit that was tailored to perfection. She also donned a coordinating sweater and hat, along with a crocodile purse.

Princess Eugenie and Zara weren’t the only members of the British royal family who attended the Cheltenham Festival. They were accompanied by multiple familiar faces, including Princess Anne, Queen Camilla and her son, Tom Parker Bowles.
The royal family watched the race from a VIP box. It’s located in the Princess Royal Stand, which is named after—you guessed it—Princess Anne who’s a dedicated equestrian.
Fingers crossed that Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall have more royal cousin outings in the near future.
