How on earth do you lose your dog in Covent Garden? They’re letting it walk around there without a lead?!?!
I hope you find her

I live here- haven’t seen the dog in the last day but will keep an eye out. If the dog is lost in Covent Garden, wander the area and talk to the local homeless residents- most are friendly and know each other. A lot also have dogs.
It sadly sounds like the dog not lost but stolen (quite obviously) by the man. The crowds were worse than normal but really not that bad yesterday at all, I was out off and on. It was not remotely bad enough to lose someone in seconds. She should amend her post to clarify those details, so people know to keep an eye out elsewhere bc the dog is likely not in this area.
A wandering pit bull in Covent Garden would be quite distinct, especially since I’ve never seen a stray dog in the West End. If there haven’t been any sightings it’s likely that the dog has been stolen.
Bad owner
Not gonna lie it’s a bit strange to walk your dog in covent garden regardless. It’s never not been crowded. Almost as strange as walking it in oxford street these days. Hope she finds her dog.
Wow. There are some real narsty cunts in this comment section!
I’m sorry your friend lost her dog, OP. Thank you for trying to find her. Hope she gets home safe and sound.
