The royals are known for being notoriously private however, the next generation of the royal family are bucking that trend and Princess Eugenie is no exception.
She shared a rare glimpse into her family life as her son August, fondly known as ‘Augie’, turned four on Sunday including a striking picture of how her son is taking after his mum.
Eugenie and her eldest son share the same hair colour and their natural auburn locks were on full display in a snap of her holding Augie as they looked at the view of a mountain.
The royal shares two sons, August, aged four, and Ernest, 22 months, with her businessman husband Jack Brooksbank, and it looks like they have a very wholesome family life.
The clip featured the two boys on family walks in the park, getting piggy backs from dad across the beach, and dipping in the ocean with mum, as Eugenie proved she was just like any other parent.

The birthday tribute to her son featured the song ‘You Make My Dreams (Come True)’, as she wrote: ‘Happy birthday my darling Augie. 4 today. And what an amazing 4 years.
‘You are so incredibly focused and inquisitive and full of adventure and speed. Can’t wait for all our adventures…so many more to come. I love you my boy, my angel.’

Jack and Eugenie have been happily coupled up for 15 years after they reportedly met whilst skiing in Switzerland.
They married at Windsor Castle in 2018, before welcoming their eldest child August in February 2021. They welcomed their second son, Ernest in May 2023.
Happy Birthday August!
