  1. St Albans Church tower, designed by Christopher Wren. The rest of the church was destroyed by the luftwaffe in ww2. This is actually the second version the first was built in 1634, it was destroyed in the great fire of 1666 and this is it’s replacement.

  2. I think the rest of the church burnt down, but the tower was still standing, so they just left it. Not sure if it’s open to the public.

  4. St Alban Church Tower, as others have mentioned it’s what’s left of a church that was severely damaged during the Second World War. Apparently it’s a ‘private dwelling’ now.

  5. I did a walking tour on Open House back in the day. They said it was a residential property now. Noice.
