Hi r/london! I like to crochet little characters and leave them behind for strangers to find by posting clues to social media, and I’ll be visiting from Houston, TX this weekend! I’ll have a [little Ted Lasso](https://imgur.com/a/wAOgrYM), a [mini Sherlock Holmes](https://imgur.com/a/fAy3wZ6), a [tiny Totoro](https://imgur.com/a/MERYktn), and a [wee little Freddie Mercury](https://imgur.com/a/uu5FqDq). They’ll be [tagged with my contact info](https://imgur.com/a/qzX8CE7), find one and it’s yours to keep! All I ask is that you send me a photo if you find one! Check out [**this post**](https://geekyhooker.com/the-hookers-going-to-london/) for details on how the drops will work, otherwise I look forward to giving these little dudes some good homes!
Totoro!!
Ahhhh I love this! I don’t live in London but I’d be so happy to find one of these 🙂
I first thought the guys were from Brookside! [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_Sullivan_(Brookside)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_Sullivan_(Brookside))
I can now see that is Freddie! Nice idea good luck.
A suggestion if you have time and a challenge (im not going to give hints) is to find out who Danger Mouse / Penfold is and if you cany make one of them, leave it at their postbox in London. It’s a normal postbox with a hard to spot feature so I’d bet a lot of locals don’t even know about it.
PS – cool Totoro.
Here lots of people croche the tops of postboxes – I guess you know that already being on a the scene.
Little Freddie!!!! Lol I must make one myself!
Totoro one is sooooo adorable 😍😍
Love them!!
Totoro and the little soot sprite are adorable 🥰
Very sweet! Love Freddie especially 🙂
Id pay money for that cute Totoro
Very unlikely I’ll find one, but love the idea. Keep up the good work!
Gonna hijack my own thread for a moment here: any museums or galleries that feature items from Aardman studios or Roald Dahl? I saw that there’s a Roald Dahl museum in Great Missender, but it looks like it’s set up more for school trips vs random visitors, and I’m a year too late for the [Wrong Trousers exhibit](https://www.cartoonmuseum.org/whats-on-exhibitions/event-four-53tyl) they had at the Cartoon Museum! Couldn’t find anything else on google, not sure if there’s a few items on permanent display anywhere? Also looking for a good Jamaican beef patty, we’re severely short on those here in Houston!
I live in the US but I just want to say I love the Freddie Mercury one!!!
There are still lovely people left in the world. I am happy for the rest of today now!!!
