1. About the same for Ukraine, too, no doubt. A horrible human toll all round

2. The first casualty of war is truth. I always remember that when seeing such stats.

   In this war we’ve heard that:

   – Putin has brain cancer
   – The Russian economy is collapsing
   – The Russians are running out of missiles
   – Russia doesn’t have modern military hardware
   – Meatwave assaults & other bad strategy

   Now we are hearing Russia has 900,000 losses.

   It gets hard to believe when after three years, and 100bns spent…

   – Russia is making territorial gains
   – Russia has one of the best economies in the world for PPP despite being the most sanctioned country in the world
   – It has repelled all attempts by Ukraine to take back territory and recently has been taking back Kursk
   – Trump is right, Ukraine is in a bad position. It’s energy infrastructure is in tatters.

   What’s intelligent about false reporting?

3. The issue is that Putin could quite easily do a 2nd round of mass conscription and replace all of those who lost their lives. Ukraine can’t.

4. All this death because of a single person’s decision…

5. Worth remembering that British intelligence isn’t objective on this. Its propaganda just like figures from the Russian side.

   I’ll be honest…I doubt Russia or Ukraine know their exact losses.

6. Same intelligence which said Iraq had WMD? Hmm
