  4. This must be a sabotaging operation, like the fuel tanker last week, these situations are not random isolated incidents – especially as it’s targeting energy infrastructure. Someone’s been sightseeing our cathedrals again.

  5. Trump/Putin ceasefire agreed for power infrastructure to not be attacked, but only specific to Ukraine.

    This would be typical Russian trolling if they did do it.

    Also disturbing as they would have clearly worked out key weak points all around the UK.

  6. From experience these substations usually have monitoring cctv for intruders even in remote locations. As long as the cctv is working they would have footage but a small drone at high level dropping 1meter long strands of conductive material would be difficult to have footage of.

  25. When will we stop being so weak. Even if this incident hasn`t got anything to do with outside causes, the fact is Russia has been creating situations like this in the UK and across Europe for years now.

    We are at war, whether we want to admit it or not, and Russia sees us as a soft touch as we never retaliate.

    I wish for once we do the same back to them, but with the difference that we just own it. Yes, that undersea cable that cut your internet, that was us. That electricity sub station that mysteriously blew up and took the airport out for days, that was us as well, and you know why. Stop doing this shit and we`ll stop as well.

  27. First thing I Thought of when I saw this on the news, was Russian sabotage.

    Given how effective drones are in the Ukraine/Russia conflict, I’m amazed this hasn’t happened here already.

    With that said, I wonder if covering these sub stations in a huge dome of netting would help prevent sabotage from not only people, but drones as well.

  28. I reckon starmer wants war so much that he and his instigated it, and set it up to appear to be Russian sabotage. If you are in England you will have noticed the ever higher demand for troops, higher “defense budget” extreme increases in the advertisement of military recruitment all starting quite a bit before this incident. Not to mention Russia is far to busy fighting Ukraine to be able to pull off stuff here. This incident is a way to force a reasoning for the disgraceful cuts to benefits and public benefitting spending and it raise military spending. Like trumps actions were a signal that he was building a war chest so to is this.

    Literally zero evidence it was Russia. Lets get some critical thinking going on before we start dropping bombs.
