Princess Eugenie was the picture of elegance as she attended an exclusive event at the residence of the U.S. Ambassador to the UK this week, which brought together recognised and influential figures from the worlds of fashion, sustainability and royalty.

The residence of the U.S. Ambassador in London is famously one of the most luxurious houses you can find yourself in in the capital. Winfield House sits nestled inside Regents Park, occupying twelve and a half acres on the northwest side of the park. The villa is the largest of eight villas originally constructed in Regents Park according to John Nash’s development scheme. The infamous heiress, Barbara Hutton was the last private owner of the house, which she restored after a fire, before it was donated to the United State in 1955.

This week’s event, which focused on the fashion industry’s responsibilities to the environment, saw a select crowd gather in very chic and dapper apparel. But few were turned out more elegantly than Eugenie, the 34-year-old daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York.

Eugenie opted for an effortlessly elegant ensemble including a grey knit dress, which is woven from a blend of cashmere and silk. The dress, which has a medium-tight fit, has a contemporary tone whilst at the same time achieving a classic kind of look. It is complete with short ribbed sleeves, a polo collar and a button pocket. Eugenie paired the trendy piece with suede pointed shoes and small hoop earrings.
