  1. I wonder how many of these weirdos were here on r/london….🤔

  2. >*The operation uses a scoring system, which calculates the severity of alleged offences by assigning points based on potential prison sentences. A suspect accused of a crime carrying a 30-day jail term would be scored a corresponding number of points. Those who rank in the top 100 each month are then proactively investigated by police.*

The term counter-terror tactics misleads us into thinking the police have done something clever. Prioritising is something we aim to teach 7-year-olds.

I mean, yes, it is welcome but FFS why is this not standard practice?

  3. So the top 100 sex offenders each month will be investigated by police, sex offenders who don’t make the cut will be free to carry on until their crimes become severe enough to rise up the league table.

Anyone thinking about organising non violent direct action, against the destruction of the planet or endless war, will be arrested for those thoughts and locked up for 5 years. The policing resources assigned to cracking down on protest are endless. Violent sex offenders are a secondary priority.

  4. The faces of these monsters, I hope they will be welcomed in prisons

  5. What’s with the god awful photography editing on that article

  6. A good start but courts must get tougher with sentencing.

Someone with multiple convictions by age thirty, is likely past the point of “rehabilitation” (if it were ever possible).
