At first I thought it was a one off or a wedding hire, but then saw about 3 or 4 of them driving around and stopping at bus stops. Is there something happening this weekend?

  1. They run them on some routes for Red Nose Day. The 65 was running them on Friday.

  2. Nobody else has seen these, mate. You pissed off a gypsy or pearly queen recently?

  3. People buy them and organise private outings or “rallies” – my stepdad is a big cheese in the vintage bus world!

  4. Route 15 in London has one but it’s paid for as a tourist attraction

  5. Just saw one on the 29 route going the opposite direction to Trafalgar Square. There was a sign on it saying “We are from the London Transport Museum”.

  6. TFL just testing their contingency plans after the shortcomings of Heathrow.

  7. I saw one today on green lanes and saw older people on it so I thought I retirement home booked it out. Good thing I didn’t need a bus today as I’m too tall to stand straight on them.

  8. they really are beautiful vehicles tho

they are one of the most london things there are, along with the phone booths. sad you see less and less of both tho
