1. Hamdan Ballal, the Oscar-winning Palestinian director of No Other Land, was kidnapped following a brutal attack by Israeli settlers in the West Bank. The settlers, armed and masked, targeted him and his activist group in the Palestinian village of Susiya, in the Masafer Yatta area. The director was reportedly beaten, his injuries including head and stomach trauma, and taken away by Israeli soldiers after an ambulance arrived. His current whereabouts remain unknown, raising concerns that this may be part of a broader effort to silence Palestinian voices amidst Israel’s ongoing military actions.    Just as terrible as the Hamas kidnappings, but Israel isn’t as likely to rape and strangle him.

   Can we all agree that kidnapping civilians is shitty? Because if not, my suggestion is you are.
