  1. >A third of 11-year-olds and more than half of 13-year-olds in England have drunk alcohol – putting it top out of 44 countries examined in a report by global health experts. The World Health Organization (WHO) report said alcohol, which can damage childrenโ€™s brains, has been normalised.

So not only are we the best drinkers, we will almost certainly retain our balconying champion status for decades to come.

  2. Good to see the kids are going to be alright after all, I was worried theyโ€™d be vaping too much to drink vodka in the park.

  3. It’s like chess. You can only get to world-class level if you start young.

  4. Nice to see the younger generation in England putting in the work and doing their bit. Germany has a lot to learn in this regard.

  5. Paddies and jocks in shambles, the one thing they were good at and the mighty Barry has shown once again why they speak the kings English, bosh.

  6. Fucks sake, this is what happens when we take our eye off the ball, getting distracted by multinationals and hiding American corporations money for them.

  7. Iโ€™ve been totally sober since 22 years old, I felt Iโ€™d done my stint by then

  8. Iโ€™ve rarely been more disappointed with our youth. Real lack of standards this generation.

  9. some of the stuff we used to drink was radioactive. woodpecker, Frosty Jacks and white lightning, pack of 10 Marlboro red and DJ Hixxy thumping out of a speaker that wouldn’t even pass in a microwave these days ๐Ÿ˜

  12. Good! Get off social media for a bit and go and get some fresh air up the park or in the woods.

  13. How much child alcohol do other countries use then?

It’s one of the most environmentally friendly alternative fuels, because of all the children it sequesters.

  14. two worlds wars

    one world cup

number 1 global on the child alcohol use chart

    you’ll never sing that

  15. Some recognition for England ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ or for Georgia ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ช ?

  16. Just a pint with the lads after primary schools out, simple as.

  17. When you live with this weather and this architecture, you learn from a very young age that drinking to oblivion is the only way to cope. Cheers.

  18. Iirc the rest of the world simply drinks less nowadays. Wonder why Barry jr. thinks itโ€™s cool again? I blame peaky blinders.

  19. Probably tried beer for the first time with my dad around 12, then would have a tin or half pint or 2 at family do’s from 14, and then moved onto getting drunk in the park/woods with the boys from 15, house parties from 16, and then finally pubs at 17/18

Pretty sure it’s the same in the rest of Europe

  20. I know some German village kids who will be fuming at these statistics
