I'll also add the following:

You cannot, and should not trust anything coming out of russia. It's absurd that the Americans think they can negotiate with these pathological liars. All consultations must have EU representatives, the Americans can't seem to grasp this concept..

European sanctions against Russia will be lifted only if it returns to Ukraine's internationally recognised borders-Macron.

EU rejects Russia's offer of ceasefire in exchange for lifting sanctions, – Financial Times.

The EU said that one of the main, but not the only, conditions for lifting sanctions would be the complete withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine.

According to military analyst Michael Clarke, Russia has violated 190 agreements.
"The biggest of them all, I believe, was the 1994 agreement, the Budapest Memorandum, when Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons, which it had inherited from the old Soviet Union. Ukraine was the only country that could have used them." – Clarke added.

  1. I like how Trump both wants to not be the world leader in protecting other countries but also boss people around. Doesn’t work like that bud.

  2. So… the US made promises regarding someone else’s stance, without consulting with them first, and were surprised when that someone told them to fuck off? Sounds like the behaviour of a certain orange faced, self absorbed, ordure casting caruncle currently polluting the news feeds.

  3. Good negotiators don’t ask questions they don’t already have the answer to.

I expect nothing less from this clown administration.

  4. It never amazes me how incompetent they are. And I mean never. It’s expected.

  5. Bet the chat where the US VP and Chief of Defence implied Europe is pathetic getting leaked didn’t help lol

  6. The United States will use this as a reason to justify further help for the russians from america. Let’s not pretend that there hasn’t been a paradigm shift since trump was elected (for a second time). The US is making it clear that old alliances are broken.

  7. Soon we will hear that trump is threatening Europe with tariffs if they do not lift sanctions on Russia.

  8. Works right into Trumps plan. Will be claimed that EU and Ukraine don’t want peace and are doing all they can to hold it up. No new aid will be given to Ukraine as none is planed anyhow. Easter is the dead line then he is off to US domestic politics in tax cuts. Ukraine is starting to piss Trump off taking to much of his time and efforts. He has a tax bill to get across the line.

  9. i feel like the Trump administration’s logo should now be “oopsie” for pretty much 90% of what they do.

  10. Zelenski, who has good sense of humor would probably comment: “Trump administration is doing the best that’s possible… for them”

  11. Who the fuck do the U.S think they are. Ignorant fucks.

  12. Its akin to Trump thinking he got somewhere with North Korea.

  13. Who would’ve guessed that America’s position of: “we’re pulling out of the Ukraine situation because it’s a European affair, but we won’t invite Europe to the negotiation table” would be fucking doomed from the start?

  14. >It’s absurd that the Americans think they can negotiate with these pathological liars

they’re not trying to negotiate, they’re trying to get what russia wants, and russia is acting tough and getting some more kicks in, under what is effectively trumps approval.

Europe is sticking to the plan, and won’t back down, which will infuriate trump (good) because his boss(es) will not like it.

  15. Im so sorry about the orange man. its crazy how having this disaster as President reflects on all Americans. Always voted against him and was sick when he got back in. #TheWorst
