  3. Large knife or machete. Why. This should carry a mandatory minimum 25 years sentence. Absolutely zero deterrence as matters stand. Get knife crime under control by draconian sentencing.

  4. We know what type of people do these crimes, they should be singled out and searched. It is for their benefit too – no one deserves their life to be taken away, especially if your full life is ahead. No one has the right to do that – no matter how badass they are.

  6. When are we going to address the glorification of violence in British ‘teen culture’?

    For years now, and I was one of these teens “drillings”, “cheffing”, and murder has been seen as cool. When this happens, there will obviously be a spike in violent crime.

    Kids have been listening to songs where a murderer gives a detailed description of an attack over a beat and bopping their heads to it.

  12. A result of a permissive approach to crime, we need zero tolerance towards knife crime. If you stab someone else, prison for 10 years no ifs no buts, the current soft sentencing paradigm is just killing ethnic minority boys and young men. It is a complete disaster

  16. Most people in a society are destined to be normal. Very few people end up being *great*, that’s just how life works.

    Social media conditions people into thinking otherwise. It also allows people to glorify degeneracy & be rewarded for it in the form of validation.

    Now children are literally born & indoctrinated into this society, which is dictated by trends & algorithms, rather than effective societal leadership.

    Youth violence culture is just the most tangible problem caused as a result, but it will be far from the only one.
