‘Omas gegen Rechts’: Grannies protest far right in Germany ahead of elections • FRANCE 24 English

Tens of thousands of people joined a demonstration against cooperation with the far right in Berlin on Sunday, after US Vice-President JD Vance called for Germany to drop the longstanding taboo. Among the protesters are elderly women holding slogans reading “Omas gegen Rechts” or “Grannies against far right”. For these women, who grew up in post-war Germany, the prospect of the far right returning to power is inconceivable.

  3. Another propaganda piece.
    They use 'emotional' points to manufacture a prapaganda…..children, elderly, students, farmers, retired military heroes etc.

    They are projecting it as if no elderly will be voting for AFD.
    And she when elderly don't have baises? Can we guarantee it that many elder population won't be far left in ideology?

  4. These older folks know what kinds of things can lead to hatred and darkness, listen to their warnings and cautions!

  11. They have no intention of protesting against the current crazy government that lets millions of migrants in without any control. Instead, they go to the streets and protest each and every time there is a terror attack committed by a migrant. I believe they are suffering from Stockholm syndrome.

  12. This is so pointless, people are gonna vote for whomever they want to vote. When is the left gonna understand that screaming won’t change people’s mind?
