Ever since the launch of her brand As Ever and the release of her Barefoot Contessa-esque Netflix show, budding lifestyle maven Meghan Markle has been letting the world into her life more and more. That means we get to see bits and pieces of her home. Most recently, in a March 31 Instagram post, Markle celebrated an upcoming launch for her brand by sharing some behind-the-scenes pictures taken at her Montecito home. As the shopping-obsessed design editors, we had to zero in on her furniture to understand her taste better. We immediately recognized her dining chairs as the Jenni Kayne Montecito Dining Chair.
The chair’s name is funny when you take into account that Markle lives in Montecito. Although it’s a bit of a cheesy coincidence, we do love the look of these chairs. The woven flax linen backrest and seat lean into an organic modern aesthetic. It’s a stylish set for the royal family to relax in while they dine outdoors. A quick disclaimer, though: If you want to recreate Markle’s patio look, know that the Jenni Kayne chairs are actually designed for indoor use. So sorry, Meghan! Maybe keep them on a covered patio or in a sunroom.
