Press release from Energyear
Madrid will host the seventh edition of Energyear Spain, the benchmark event for the renewable energy sector, which will be held from April 8 to 10. With more than 1,200 attendees, 140 speakers, and 70 collaborating companies, this forum is consolidating its position as an essential meeting point for debate and networking in the energy industry.
In a context of accelerated transformation, Energyear will bring together key players in the sector, from regulatory bodies and associations to developers, financiers, and technology companies. The event will address the trends, opportunities, and challenges that will shape the evolution of the renewable energy market in the coming years.
The agenda will feature more than 25 panel discussions on key topics such as the future of the energy system, the profitability of sustainable models, innovation in storage, the role of green hydrogen, and the digitalization of the sector. Aspects such as O&M optimization, cybersecurity in solar plants, and the influence of data centers and the electro-intensive industry on the energy transition will also be analyzed. As a new feature, this edition will include specialized workshops for the exchange of knowledge and best practices.
The sector at a crucial moment
Spain reached a record renewable generation output in 2024, with 148,999 GWh, representing 56.8% of the electricity mix. However, challenges persist, such as the need for more storage capacity, streamlining administrative procedures, and limited interconnection with Europe, all of which are key to the effective implementation of the 2023-2030 NECP.
Energyear Spain 2025 is presented as the ideal forum to analyze these challenges and explore strategies that promote a more efficient, sustainable, and competitive energy system.
The event will offer in-person and virtual participation options, with varying rates based on the date of purchase. Attendees will have access to all three days of conferences, networking sessions, lunches, and cocktails.
