In Denmark he is mostly known for telling Frederik to stop crying … But im sure he was better with his grandkids
You should probably either run this [article](https://www.dr.dk/nyheder/mind/prins-henrik/prins-henriks-opdragelsesmetoder-skabte-debat-han-forstod-ikke-postyret) through a translator or read it in danish. He hit Frederik and Joachim, and believed children should be treated quite sternly. The change in attitude might only have been towards his grandchildren.
Nah I think Margrethe and Henrik were generally shit parents to both Fred and Joachim. I don’t understand the need to put a halo on either them. Henrik however seemed to be a better grandparent than Margrethe too as Nikolai has spoken fondly of him in some interviews a few years ago I think.
