James Kent has made his selection for the upcoming home fixture against Poland on 5 April in the Stade de Luxembourg.
The future of Luxembourg’s national rugby team in the Rugby Europe Trophy hinges on their season finale against Poland. A win would propel them above Lithuania in the table, securing their place in the division – an unprecedented achievement for the team.
Luxembourg currently sit bottom of the table having only drawn one game this season, however throughout their campaign have shown a level of unity and resilience that gives them hope of staying at this level. They face a tough challenge against a physical Polish side still vying for promotion to the Rugby Europe Championship. It’s a classic David vs Goliath battle – but we all know how that story ended!
