UK foreign secretary criticises Israel for denying two Labour MPs entry

1. I mean, unless they can prove that they were coming for a different reason than what they’re being accused of, it’s standard practice in most nations to reject entry to people for “spreading anti-state hate”.

   Which shouldn’t be to difficult since all they would have to do is make a post about their true intentions and it would be their word vs the “always lying” Israel.

2. Oh please. You can’t have it both ways. UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy has taken plenty of money from pro-Israel donors, as has Keir Starmer. Lammy’s former campaign manager is David Mencer, Israel’s spokesperson.

   The financial shortfall the party experienced when members left in disgust at the “antisemitic” smear campaign against Jeremy Corbyn, was made up by a donation of millions by a pro-Israel donor.

   The Labour Party has essentially sold out to Israel. It has continued to oversee the aggressive clamping down of pro-Palestine protests and kept sending arms.

   Labour is no longer the progressive, left-wing party it once was. Perhaps it’s the inevitable end point of Blairism: an amoral centrism that looks the other way at war crimes, ethnic cleansing and genocide.
