  1. Let’s goooo and we didn’t even need to spend money on balconies.

Edit: seriously how do you even fall?

  2. Rookie mistake, he did not jump in the Balearic islands, so it won’t count for the balconing league.

  3. It’s always nice when people go out of their way to confirm their stereotypes.

  4. Well, this is just sad. This wasn’t Mallorca or Benidorm. Just some poor old man visiting an aqueduct and clearly trying to take a real interest in Spanish culture/history. Not exactly your typical guiri.

Still, ffs how do us Brits manage to fit the stereotype? Clearly, our most fierce and enduring rival is gravity itself.

Our fallen comrade, may this continued war of Spanish balcony aggression come to an end.

  6. This aqueduct was a terribly infamous Suicide site. They even block the access to avoid suicides.

  7. This pile of rocks has anti-Barry traps built in. The Romans knew what they were doing

  8. 💪 there is no ‘off season’ for us. What a lad

  9. This year, there were 2 different times when a person started to walk in the top of the Aqueduct. I’ve seen a lot of people sit in the border the platform, something dangerous.

It seems that the city council doesn’t put the enought effort to stop that issue or fully protect the monument. The only things they did were:

    1. **Putting huge fees if you climb the damned thing**, no matter the part of the monument. There[ is a part that isn’t protected](https://s3.ppllstatics.com/burgosconecta/www/multimedia/201807/07/media/cortadas/acueducto-k7YD-U602789342217V-624×385@El%20Norte.jpg) and there are always tourists doing the imbecile. While the top part is protected by an ineffective barrier.
    2. **If you touch the Aqueduct,** **you will get a fee.** This isn’t explained to the tourists, so they touch it, the police don’t give a sh… while the locals are very angry about it.

In the top of that, there are also a little [**pickpocket**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJ8XoD1j5gc) **problem,** there are only a few who live in the city who the police keep track on. But also some that come from Madrid. Their target are people who come from Asia, they are a huge niusanse for touristic guides, who also watch out and report them.

In a nutshell, don’t do anything stupid while visiting monuments, specially the ones who belongs at [**WHC**](https://whc.unesco.org/en/list/311). Nevertheless, D.E.P the poor man who slipped in the sightseeing.

P.D: The city, ahem big village, it’s safe because there isn’t really any danger.
