Greece survived 6000 years is quite an inaccurate claim..
China, the fractured kingdoms, that got turned into an empire, that fell into fractions kingdoms, only to get re-conquered into an empire… (repeat to the nth degree)… that got conquered into a communist empire that has recently liberalized trade with the world somewhat, has existed for 5000 years.

What savages don’t understand is that civilizations as old as Greece and China have had several ups and downs over those thousands of years. “Goldman Sachs” is nothing compared to the [Bronze Age Collapse](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Late_Bronze_Age_collapse) or the [3rd Century Crisis](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crisis_of_the_Third_Century) or the [15th century](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fall_of_Constantinople).
