Considering the numerical superiority of those Russians and everything they threw at him, that’s very impressive fighting by that single Ukrainian.
Let’s hope that he made it out alive!
Just shows how fog of war is so terrifying, it almost looked like none of the Russians knew where the Ukrainian was despite what happened to their buddies.
Bro use that Room to its full capacity.
That’s some soldier, hope he got out of there alive
It shows the advantage of having an eye in the sky. Dude knew where those Russians were.
Why isn’t that drone dropping grenades or flying in and blowing up? Seems like it could have helped the Ukrainian, though he did very well on his own.
Gawdaym, that dude was just like shooting ducks from the sky. Just dropping like a sack of potatoes one by one
A lot happening here
Impressive! By both sides but with opposite meanings.
Skala Battalion volunteers doing work!
Those Russians have the Situational Awareness of a brick.
Russian shows he’s bad a peekaboo
Seeing the bombed out substations and plants is heartbreaking. Even after this war ends it will take years to replace some of those transformers and breaker cabinets. Those parts have also skyrocketed in price in the last decade. A transformer that cost $500k ten years ago and took 18 months to build now costs $2m and takes 36-54 months to build. I can’t imagine what all the tariff horseshit going on will do to that.
No matter how Ukraine comes out of the war they will be rebuilding in a brutal market. It’s tragic.
I always feel bad for the Russians that are killed in these videos. Then about 5 seconds later I don’t give a damn. They fully understand the risk of being where they’re not supposed to be. If they want to die for a dictator, well, that’s their stupid choice.
I wouldn’t be surprised if that Ukrainian soldier played lots of tactical shooters like Counter Strike growing up. Lots of these guys are no older than 30-40… haven’t even lived half of their lives yet assuming they make it to 80-90. Of course this isn’t limited to just video games and this is gonna make any of you actual ex-military guys here cringe but bear with me.
That Ukrainian used some pretty “video game” style tactics there. Like when he peeks out at the Russian the moment he throws the grenade because he knows there’s probably a delay between that grenade leaving the Russian’s hand and the Russian getting the barrel of his rifle pointed back up. He also knows the Russian trio needs to take cover until that grenade goes off, and he uses this against them by quickly moving into an aggressive forward position to surprise them and kill another. And lastly the Ukrainian is constantly changing his firing position every time he fires at them so that he can prevent a flank maneuver, and also keep them guessing as to where hes gonna shoot at them next which keeps them constantly on the defensive and afraid to push up.
Source: Many many years ago I played counter strike with a few decent amateur teams in ESEA League in the Intermediate and Main divisions. Video games are nothing like war OBVIOUSLY but I thought it was interesting that there are tactics used in super unrealistic video games that seem to be somewhat effective in the right circumstances in war, especially when it comes to being hard to predict and constantly in motion.

Pretty hectic editing, but badass nevertheless.

A slightly longer and less cut up version of this battle posted here: https://old.reddit.com/r/UkraineWarVideoReport/comments/1jzwkif/ukrainian_infantry_men_in_cooperation_with_drones/
