Edgar Davids, Edwin van der Sar, and Ruud van Nistelrooy are just some of the names to lace up their boots for the Netherlands 21 years ago. Nike’s bring-back collection faithfully recreates the shirt and tracksuit worn by these legendary players. The squad’s number 10 gets his own kit reissued in all its orange-colored glory, donning the Total 90’s circular detail on the front.
Campaign photography for the four-piece capsule features the National Football Team’s current captain, Virgil van Dijk, donning the retro apparel.
In addition to official reissues of Holland’s apparel, Nike Football has also launched a “Safety Orange” edition of the beloved Total 90 III indoor shoe. The style pairs perfectly with the old shirts, with van Dijk even wearing a pair in campaign photos.
