MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A woman has been charged in the shooting death of 36-year-old Travis Jackson, according to the Montgomery Police Department.
Jackson, who was the owner of the Rich Life clothing store at Eastdale Mall, was fatally shot on Friday, April 11 in the 1500 block of Hale Street. He died from his injuries at a nearby hospital.
Litasha Washington, 38, was charged with murder after police arrested her Friday.
She has been placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
The circumstances that led to the shooting are still under investigation.
