Willkie Farr & Gallagher brought a lawsuit against Iran Thursday, asking a court to order the country to pay damages to the families of US citizens and military members killed in terrorist attacks.
“The Government of Iran is politically and ideologically hostile to the United States and its allies,” lawyers for the families said in the complaint. Iran “has consistently provided material support for acts of international terrorism” through the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah, they alleged.
