The most unusual piece of equipment used by the Russians to storm the front line during the entire war: an armored assault train. A locomotive completely covered with improvised armor sheets.

  1. So in 2025 we’ve got Russian horse logistics convoys, larger scale trench warfare, humane wave attacks, and armored trains. It’s been over 100 years and same tactics at play it seems.

  2. Whoever mixed the music in this video clearly missed a golden opportunity.

Cue Thomas the Tank Engine theme

  3. I have my doubts about whether this was actually used to storm frontline positions. How do we know this was not simply being used to resupply frontline positions? If the Russians really wanted to “storm” frontline positions they would have more effective means than a literal train that can only move forwards and backwards.

Why not a tank or a bmp or even one of their madmax motorcycle type squads?

  4. Do you think Ukrainians in the control-room are like; WTF… go get the commander. Let him see what those effin’ russian bastards have come up with now…!

  5. This just in:

Is the russian war machine losing steam?
