3. There was a period of time in the mid 90s when Ritzy’s in Newport would sell you a pint of lager and a Blue Curacao shot (or depth charge to turn your pint green) for, I shit you not, 50p.

   Glory days.

4. Damn, I remember working in a pub 22 years ago and our most expensive pint was Stella (£2.95) and people kicked off that it was expensive, now we are talking about £3 – £3.50 being cheap for a pint, most remaining pubs near me, the average price of a pint is in the region of £6.50 😲😞
