  1. Yes they made them all waterproof.

“Wipe clean” is what it says on the label, I’m not sure why that’s required though, maybe it’s the wine they hand out?

    Yes that will be it.

  2. You can get them from any army surplice shop. I hear they’re good with holy water too.

  3. Homebase. You can tell by the big H on the front, it was probably on sale due to the shutdown.

  4. Yes it’s waterproof. Note it’s only class3 hi viz though – no arm reflectors.

  5. Sports direct… I’ve got a Lonsdale one I use for my MMA matches

  6. I’ve seen a few on Vinted. Unusually expensive at this time of year.

  7. Maybe he stole it.

( A stole is a long, narrow band worn around the neck, signifying authority and the responsibility to perform sacramental duties)

  8. It’s nice that they let them wear the black/blue robes for the sermon these days

  9. Fun fact, the former archbishop of England used to play for Everton

  10. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this fella digging a hole alongside the A1. I’ll stop and ask where he got it from next time

  11. I think it’s a PriMarni. Popeular Italian designer.

  12. That’s called a chasuble. It has its origins in the Roman cloak called a *casula*, which was a large piece of material with a hole for the head, like a poncho.

They were used in England until the Reformation, then fell out of favour until the Oxford Movement in the nineteenth century re-popularised the traditional clerical vestments. In the Catholic church they remained in use but became a more stylised garment which consists of two pieces of fabric joined at the shoulder, but they’ve also started to use the cloak style again in recent decades.

The Roman cloak was an outer garment, so although it’s not waterproof I suppose you could think of it as a sort of clerical coat.

  13. Its from Habit Hat. Like Habitat it sells soft furnishings but also priest clothes.

  14. It’s Jesus’ dry robe, useless in the rain but effective against holy water splashes

  15. It’s from Heaven and turns the water into wine. Not cheap though.
