You can have good food and coffee and even beer on italian motorways. It’s just a nice little place all fenced to let your kids while you eat your panino. There are even the romanians truck drivers in front to take care of them.
For toddlers doing hard time.

I see an awesome playground sometimes when I take the bus instead of the metro. Look at it
The sign is an official playground sign. There is a sandbox – that’s it. Not even a fucking bench. Between two house blocks, so most likely just a playground to fulfil the law

I don’t think kids grow up in highway rest stops but ok
At least they don’t have to pay to use it, unlike the restrooms on German Autobahns
