  1. French still Rules it’s former colonies via their wealth through CFA Franc currency (70% have to be kept by France) which all their natural resources have to go thru French companies

  2. Macron is boxing himself and France into a corner. Unless the French have secretly invented magic wands that would make Harry Potter green with envy, Haiti is destined to remain, in the words of The Talking Heads: "Same as it ever was; same as it ever was."
